Weekend at the Homestead

This past weekend was Jaylee's first trip away from home. It was just a short 1 hour drive up to Midway, but it was a getaway none the less. She also went swimming for the first time, and I was lucky enough to find a swimsuit for her that was not only one of the cutest designs I've seen, but it was only $10! It was a nice relaxing weekend and we all had a lot of fun.

Right before we went swimming,

the first pose is always the best.

Each pose after was just more meltdown, but still cute!


The pool was a hot tub, but the temperature was
like bath water.


She doesn't look too happy in these pictures, but she was
very content for at least 1/2 hour in the pool.

It was so relaxing that she fell asleep in the pool,

and then continued her nap wrapped in her towel.

We can't wait to do it again!
